As this is a public forum available to everyone, rules must be laid out so that everything runs smoothly and we can have fun and mingle without any trouble.

There aren't that many rules; just the usual ones. So it should be easier to stick to them. The Administrators and the Moderators do not tolerate users who misbehave by disregarding the rules of this forum. Any users caught will be reprimanded immediately, and if continued misuse of the forum occurs, the user will be banned from visiting this site.

We're pretty lax here, really - but an offense is an offense.

Now, on to the rules.

RULES & REGULATIONS OF THE TOKIO HOTEL MALAYSIAN FAN FORUM:

All abbrevations of THMYFF refer to the Tokio Hotel Malaysian Fan Forum.

1. No offensive language - this includes excessive swearing and calling other
users names you wouldn't want to be called, yourself. We'll allow the occasional
swear word to slip through, just don't make it a habit. Nobody likes a pottymouth.

2. No spamming - for those of you who don't know what this is, spamming is
basically repeatedly posting the same thing. This can be extremely irritating to the
other users. Also, if you realise that you have made a mistake in one of your
previous posts, just use the 'EDIT' button in the top right corner of your post to
make your correction.

3. No badmouthing the band - this is a forum for Tokio Hotel fans. If you are a
real fan, you won't even think of badmouthing them OR their crew, friends and
family. You won't want to, anyway - some fans can get pretty protective. Just a
forewarning. *Note: Badmouthing and criticism aren't necessarily the same thing.

4. No stalkertalk - stalkertalk is our definition of a crazy fan demanding the
studio location, favourite hangouts, etc. of the band. Intrusive posts about their
family and friends will also be deleted. We know the boys want to keep their
personal life separated from their work life, so respect their privacy.

5. No 13375P34K - try to post in proper English/BM/Manglish/whatever,
please. Text speak is annoying to many people and may be difficult to understand
for non-English speakers, so keep the 13375P34K for your phones. N tlkn lyk dis iz
oso nt advsed thnx.

6. No defaming - please remember that the other users on this forum may have
different opinions from you, and that your defamatory comments might hurt them.
All this hullabaloo going on about TH fans hating on JB fans and vice versa shouldn't
happen. A little healthy competition is always good, but not defaming. It isn't very nice.

7. No impersonating - here at THMYFF, we do not appreciate users pretending
to be members of Tokio Hotel and their crew, friends and family. It is cruel to attempt
to trick other users into thinking that you are the real Bill Kaulitz or such. This rule
does not apply only to Tokio Hotel, but also to other famous personalities.

8. No fantasies - we do not condone mentions of things that may demoralise
the band's image on this forum, even if you do not mean it scathingly. These include
but are not limited to mentions of 'twincest' or 'twin incest', and pairing up members
of the band in a clearly fictitious relationship.

9. No stealing - the images shown here on THMYFF that were not created by
forumotion.com/phpBB are strictly NOT to be used on other sites or for your own
personal use without the written permission of the Administrators. These images,
which include the various banner images shown on this forum, were created solely
for THMYFF are are copyrighted to THMYFF and their creator(s).

Now, rules may be updated every now and again, so check back frequently to make sure you don't miss anything!

There aren't that many rules. Plus it's not hard to keep to these kind of rules.
