Okay, this is a bit late, sorry!
First off, details of MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2010 has been confirmed!
DATE: 31 July 2010 (that's a Saturday)
VENUE: Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach
TIME: 6PM (doors open at 4PM)
MTV Asia has started giving away passes to event! All you have to do is visit the official MTV Asia World Stage website and wait for the giveaway session to start (a countdown is available on the home page). Then, simply click on the buzzing black bee or the little man named Junior to win yourself a pair of passes to the concert!
The giveaway ends on July 17, and 86 passes have been won so far - good luck!
Junk Magazine is the official media partner of the event, and they'll be giving out passes to the concert soon!
And lastly, there will be an MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia Roadshow on 17 & 18 July 2010 at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall (Pyramid Concourse), where exclusive passes and limited edition merchandise will be given away.

1. TIMING IS OF THE ESSENCE
Passes will be given out at different time slots daily on worldstage.mtvasia.com. The time slots will be announced via MTV Asia’s Twitter and Facebook. Be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to get up-to-the-minute updates!
2. KEEN OBSERVATION IS A MUST
Two different "icons" will appear randomly on the top and the bottom of the site during specific time slots.
Spot and click on the "Junior" icon and you'll stand to win a pair of passes to MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia 2010.
Spot and click on the "Bee" icon and you'll stand to win a pair of passes MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia 2010 and enter the venue via the express queue! Note: Very limited passes are available!
3. UTILIZE YOUR WIT AND WIN!
Answer a simple Q&A question and fill in your personal particulars such as Name, Email, Contact Number and IC/Passport Number.
If you get the right answer, a verification email will be sent to you to verify your personal details. You will also be asked to input in your mailing address. Please note that contestants with false or invalid personal particulars will be disqualified.
Please note that passes winners are responsible for their own transport and accommodation.
However, if you are a resident of Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia or Hong Kong, we have more in store for you! In addition to the passes, you will stand a chance to win the Grand Prize of airfare and accommodation for you and a friend to MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia by answering a question found on the verification page. Only one Grand Prize winner will be chosen from each country. Details are included in the verification email so remember to give us a valid email address to contact you!

The winners for the countdown giveaway are selected at random by their IP address, if that's what you mean.
